Duane L. Jones

Duane Lionel Jones was born on April 4, 1956, in Benton Harbor, MI. He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Tolly Alan Sr. and Edna Lee Jones, and his oldest brother, Tolly (Jap) Jones Jr. He gave his life to the Lord early in life as a teenager – Thank God. He was called home to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 26, 2020. He will be greatly missed.

Duane graduated from Benton Harbor High School in 1974. He then joined the U.S. Marines Corps for four years of Honorable Services. He then pursued his life career being employed at various companies through contract agencies doing what he loved and does best professionally. Manpower, St. Joseph, MI - Press Operator, Double J Moulding, South Haven, MI - Press Operator, Mann and Key, Lawrence, MI, Anderson – Aluminum Die-Cast Shipments and Manager of Anderson Blueberries Farm, Covert, MI. Duane was also a member of the Lions of Michigan Forum, Covert, MI. District 11-B2.

Duane leaves to cherish his precious memories: His beautiful loving daughter, Meosha Scott (Isaac)-Savannah, GA. His loving son, Lourd Whitfield-Michigan City, IN. The love of his life for 37 years, Jennifer Anderson-Covert, MI. (Bonus daughters, Amber, Nicole, Ginger).
