Donna R. Robinson

Donna Renee’ Robinson was born on January 1, 1963, in Cross County, Arkansas, to Louise and Lorenzo Robinson. She was baptized at an early age and later moved to Benton Harbor, Michigan, where she earned her G.E.D. Donna departed this life on July 24, 2025.

Donna was full of life and joy. She loved to make people laugh with her jokes and impressions, enjoyed playing cards, and rarely passed up a $2 Cashword or scratch-off ticket. Above all, she cherished her family and friends. Fridays were especially meaningful to her, as she and her daughter, LaDonna, would look forward to visiting her mother together.

Donna leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Louise Robinson; three children, Le’Andre Robinson, Arthur Robinson, and LaDonna Robinson, all of Benton Harbor, Michigan; two sisters, Bennie Robinson and Josephine Caldwell; four brothers, Lorenzo Robinson Jr., Walter Robinson, Willie Carpenter, and Allen Gibson; thirteen beloved grandchildren: Arthur Robinson Jr., Artesia Robinson, Jordyn Jenkins, Idris Carter, Austin Robinson, Aiden Robinson, Grady Lauderdale, Christopher Ferguson Jr., Dzarri’a Robinson, Diamond Robinson, Le’Andreonna Robinson, Andresha Robinson, and Le’Andre C. Robinson; eight great-grandchildren; a special niece Antoinette “Peaches” Robinson; a special friend, Jimmy Dyer and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandson, Le’Andre Robinson Jr. (September 5, 2000); her father, her maternal and paternal grandparents, three sisters, Jeanette Moody, Verlene Robinson, and Charlesetta Robinson.

Donna was deeply loved by her family and friends, and her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
