Donald T. Cornelius

Donald “Tyrone” Cornelius 58 of Benton Harbor was called to the Lord’s house July 12, 2024. 

Donald was born July 21, 1965 to the union of John D. and Johnnie Mae Cornelius. He attended Benton Harbor High School and later became a maintenance assistant for various landlords.

Donald enjoyed fishing and spending time with family and friends.

Donald leaves to cherish his memory, his mother figure, Emma J. Hill; sisters, Darlene G. Cornelius and Vera M. Jones; brothers, Pat Jones, Tommie E. (Joanne) Jackson, Duane L. (Angela Stewart) Cornelius, John D. Cornelius Jr., Dion C. (Angel) Cornelius and Darren J. (Kathryn) Cornelius; a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Donald is preceded in death by, his father, John D. Cornelius; mother, Johnnie Mae Cornelius; second mother, Annie Lee Jackson Cornelius; sisters, Denise L. Cornelius, Derophyne D. Cornelius, Jenette Jackson, Loriane Price and Palistine Price; brothers, Jonn B. Lloyd and Dennis J. Cornelius.

Though he has left this place, Tyrone will never leave our hearts. God’s-speed big brother.
