Denise Anne (Smith) Warren

On Thursday, January 18, 1962, at Mercy Hospital in Benton Harbor, Michigan the late Frank, Sr., and Earline Smith were blessed with a beautiful bundle of joy, baby girl Denise Ann Smith.  Denise transitioned to her heavenly home on Monday, April 25, 2022, at Spectrum Health Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph, Michigan surrounded by family.

Denise attended Benton Harbor Area Schools and was a proud graduate with the Class of 1980.  On July 17, 1985, Denise married the love of her life Erving Warren. Sr., and to this union four children her born.  She enjoyed cooking, backyard barbecues, dancing, and family time.  While trying to help provide for her family, Denise worked numerous jobs throughout her life.

Denise leaves to cherish but not to mourn fond memories in the hearts of her Husband: Erving, Warren, Sr.; Daughter: Alicia Warren; Sons: Erving Warren, Jr., Akeem Warren and Darren Warren; Stepdaughter: Shanika Wright; Stepson: Antwan Rolland; Stepmother: Judith (Welch) Smith, Brothers: Eric (Lisa) Smith, Harry (Clem) Smith, Leon Smith, and Craig Smith; Sister: Brandi Adkins; along with eight grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.  

Denise is preceded in death by her parents: Frank, Sr., and Earline Smith; and brother: Frank. Jr.
