Deborah Ann Hardnett Lloyd of Coloma, MI peacefully departed this life on April 15th, 2023. A devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend was born on October 22nd, 1954, in Ethel, Ark to Lucy Cohen Hardnett and Nolie Hardnett.
Deborah was a graduate of Benton Harbor High School with the class of 1973. She was employed by Lakeland Hospital (Corwell Health) for 26 years and retired in 2020. She was united in holy matrimony to Michael Lloyd on September 28, 2011, in Benton Harbor. On September 22, 2019 she united with New Bethel Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Maurice L. McAfee and was baptized on October 6, 2019. Deborah was a woman with a passion for life and an eye for beauty. She had many diverse interests, but her favorites included skating, shopping, decorating, and fashion. On the skating rink, Deborah glided with grace and finesse, showing her skills that she mastered after years of skating with her best friend, who preceded her in death, Cheryl Scates Caston.
Deborah had an intuitive eye for decorating. To know Deborah was to know that she was unique and had her own style. Deborah's passion for fashion was a defining part of her personality. She had an impeccable sense of style and loved to experiment with different trends and looks. Always looking to find unique ways to express herself.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Michael; one daughter, China Marie Hardnett, of Niles MI.; two sons, Corey and Corvell Hardnett; three sisters: Judy Lynn Spates..her day one and best friend, Leneise Hardnett, of Georgia, and Joyce Johnson of California; four brothers, Dennis Hardnett, Ladell Hardnett, Dontray (Sheba) Young, and Nolie (Rose) Hardnett Jr. of Little Rock, AR.; 13 Grandchildren, a grandson that she raised: Cordell Thomas; 17 Great-grandchildren; Godson: Quinton Davis; Goddaughter: Genese Austin; Son-in-law: Domiro Jones; bonus daughter, Melissa (Tommie) Turner; daughter-in law, Samrosette Yates; her Godmother (whom she held close to her heart) Emma Jo Hill; favorite cousin, Debra Ann Hill; her lifelong friends whom she shared special moments and amazing memories, Phillis Adams, Jeanette Reynolds, and Ann Lloyd; a bonus daughter, a host of friends, family, colleagues, and loved ones.

Deborah was preceded in death by her parents, Nolie Hardnett and Lucy Cohn Hardnett; her son, Amos Croom III; her granddaughter, Chyneice Hardnett; great-grandson, Ronnie Joe Adams, Jr.; sisters, Bennie Jean Cooper, Tina Hardnett-Thrower; brothers, Terrol Wayne Hardnett, Lavell Hardnett, Johnny Hardnett, and Kenny Hardnett; Anton Lloyd and her mother-in-law, Ada B. Lloyd.
