David Michael Anderson

David Michael Anderson was born in Benton Harbor, MI on July 13, 1953, to David Rochester Anderson and Henrietta Turner, the second oldest of three children.

“Michael," as he was affectionally called by family and close friends, grew up happily in Benton Harbor, MI. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. He graduated from Benton Harbor High School and later, proudly served our country as a member of the United States Navy during the Vietnam War.

Michael departed this life on Thursday, June 4, 2020, at St. Mary's Hospital in Grand Rapids. He was preceded in death by his parents David and Henrietta and brother Robert Turner.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving sister, Darlene Michelle Anderson, and two nephews, Javen Anderson, and Joshua Cole all of Grand Rapids, MI. Two aunts, Geneva Anderson of Las Vegas NV, and Melissa Tucker of Woodbridge, IL.  Best friend and cousin, Jesse Dean Murray of Stevensville, MI.  Special friend, Remel Davis, and step-daughters Christina Davis of Grand Rapids, MI, and Angela Davis of Kalamazoo, MI.  A host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.
