Cynthia Gooden, was born September 17, 1958 to the union of Laverne Thomas and Percy Gooden in Benton Harbor, Michigan. She was born the last child out of 5 children. She preceded her mother, Laverne Thomas, her father Percy Gooden, and her son Cleotis Gooden.
Cynthia worked for the Imperial Printing Company for many years. She attended Benton Harbor High School and graduated from Lakeshore night school in 1991.
Cynthia enjoyed spending time with the family listening to her old school music and drinking her 7up. At home she enjoyed watching Chicago Fire and playing casino games. Cynthia lights up the room with her smile and loveable personality.
Cynthia's departure leaves a void in many lives. She leaves to cherish her memories with her son Aviance (Zanika) Gooden of Benton Harbor, MI; her three sisters, Myrtle Brown-Karidioula, Stella (Willie) Liddell, Bobby (Larry) Bennett all of Benton Harbor, MI; her only brother, Earl Brown of Benton Harbor, MI; two grandchildren Deja (Timothy) Gulledge and Jermiah Gooden; two great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
