Clarence "Doc" Tillman

 Clarence “Doc” Tillman, 82 of Benton Harbor departed this life January 19, 2020. 

 Clarence was born on July 12, 1937 to John Henry Tillman and Callie Cooper. He spent time in both Peoria, Illinois and Chicago Illinois until he settled in Benton Harbor.

Clarence was an easy-going guy who loved to joke with everyone. You could always find him hanging out at Angelo’s or playing cards with the guys. Any time the weather was nice, he enjoyed going fishing.

Clarence is survived by his son, Junior Crane; stepdaughter, Alfreda Morgan: sister, Gloria Jean Tillman; a host of nieces, nephews and friends. 

Clarence was preceded in death by his parents John Henry Tillman and Callie Cooper; sisters, Nancy Davenport, Leola Rakin & Susie Horton: Brothers Lester Tillman, Preston Tillman, Clemont Tillman, Lee Jerry Tillman, Wilson Tillman and Robert Tillman. He had two additional siblings, Twins that preceded him in death, but their names are unknown, also by step daughter Beverly Morgan.
