Carolyn Joyce Foster

Carolyn Joyce Foster 64 departed life on May 31, 2026 in Benton Harbor, MI. Carolyn was born on 9/10/1961 to the late Savannah Pugh in Blytheville, Arkansas.  She attended Benton Harbor Area Schools she was a stay-at-home mom to her kids and some community kids as well.

She was a woman of many talents but her best talent was cooking.  She was passionate about her family and friends.  She had a loud personality she was a loving Grandma; she loved playing Pokeno with her kids and grandkids.  And playing little games on her phone.  She gave her life to GOD in March of 2026.

Praise for the Lord Saints to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. For me to live is thru Christ and for me to die is gain. Rejoice in the lord always again I say rejoice in the lord for we are alive and will remain until the coming of the lord. Shall not prevent them which are sleep for the lord himself will descend from heaven. With the blast of the trumpet of GOD and with the voice of the Arch Angel.  The dead in Christ will rise first then we which are alive will remain will be called up together with them into the cloud to meet the Lord.

She leaves to cherish her memories to:  (Children) Leonard Foster, Daris Foster, Constance Foster and Dominique Foster. (Sisters)  Armykay Birmite,  Audrey Pugh, Idella Hill and Sheila Tramell. (Brother in law) Joseph Hill.  (10) Grandchildren, (5) Great Grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.  Who she loved so dearly.

She was preceded in death by her (Mother) Savannah Pugh, (Grandmother) Ida Bell Foster, (Brother in law) William Birmite, (Neice) Arielle Lateesha Pugh and (Special friend) Deedrelle Burton.

My Mom most definitely lived her life to its fullest potential she was looked upon as my early Angel when the weight was on my shoulder, she was there. When things hit the fan and I crapped out in life with nowhere to go.  She prepared a place for me.  Last but not least if I was ever in need of anything in this world.  She would gladly give the shirt off her back.  God has called her home by name, and she is in a much better place.

Although its extremely painful she is no longer with us.  She is now serving her purpose as a spiritual Angel looking down on us all. 

Rest in Peace Mom you will truly be missed I love you Always Bird GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN.
