Bonnie Williams Obituary

Bonnie Williams, 85 of South Bend formerly of Benton Harbor departed this life April 29, 2019, peacefully in her sleep at the Cardinal Rehabilitation Center, South Bend. Bonnie was the only child of Annie Mae and George Moore Jr. who both served in the community as well. She was one of the early musicians at the New Bethel Baptist Church. Bonnie was trained by her grandfather, Candice Loony who passed that gift on to his only grandchild. Deacon Fletcher Moore, her uncle, was instrumental in encouraging her to play. Bonnie was blessed to set under the leadership of every pastor of the New Bethel Baptist Church which included the late great Rev. Milton P. McAfee until she moved in 1977.Bonnie was proceeded in death by her parents; first-born daughter, Anita Longs; first-born son, Quin Tin Longs.
