Berna Jones

Berna Jean Jones was born on July 30, 1941, in Harrisburg, AR. Berna was the daughter of the late J.P. and De Ella Johnson Jones. She gave her life to Christ at an early age where she united with the True Light Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Davenport.

She attended Harrison High School in Blytheville, AR. Then relocated to Benton Harbor, MI where she retired, she untied to the Saint Mark Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Price and Rev. Donald Green. Where she was a faithful member, as a choir member and worked on the kitchen committee.

Berna was preceded in death by her spouse, parents, and 3 sisters.

She leaves to cherish her memory five sisters. Bernice Sewell of Walkersville, MD, Essie Jones-Smith of Sherwood, AR, Carlon (Willie) Henderson, Blytheville, AR, Virginia Mosley of Blytheville, AR, and Velma Jefferson of Jonesboro, AR. Four brothers, Ivory (Bobbie) Jones, Benton Harbor, MI, J. P. Jones Jr of Blytheville, AR, Glen Dell (Roberta) Jones of Clarkson, MO, Larry (Deborah) Jones of Benton Harbor MI. Three special love ones Unique and Heaven Pitchford, Chokwe Jr, all of Benton Harbor, MI. And many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other loved ones.
