Beatrice Gray

Beatrice “Polly “Gray 69, of Benton Harbor, Michigan passed away peacefully with her loving daughter Annette holding her hand on Thursday, February 11, 2021.
Polly as she liked to be called was born on March 17, 1951, in Marianna, Arkansas to Bessie Mae Bennett and Sam Gray.

Polly was a very strong-willed, caring, and loving person. She loved her family with all her heart and had a special bond with her grandson Qualeon.

Polly enjoyed BINGO, lottery, and cleaning. For many years Polly would serve her community while providing childcare in her home.  She later decided to go into Home Health Care where she really enjoyed working with the seniors. 

Polly left an everlasting memory with those she encountered.  She enjoyed a good laugh and spending time with her family.  Those memories we will cherish forever.

 Polly is survived by her sons Edward Gray, Aurgrell Gray, and Condarius Triplett of Benton Harbor, MI. daughters Annette, Tamika, and Lakiesha Gray of Benton Harbor, MI.  grandchildren Anthony Rooks of Chicago, Il., Antonio Rooks, Lakiesha, Qualeon , Mikylah, G'Yana, and Ar’Janyia Gray, and Malik Rittmon of Benton Harbor, MI.  four great-grandchildren, her brother Timothy Bennett of Benton Harbor, MI.  Nephews and nieces Condarius, Cadaeja, and Condarius Jr. Triplett Victoria Gray of Benton Harbor, MI. Special friends Cora Pierce of Hammond, IN.  and Freddie Swift of Benton Harbor, MI.

Polly was preceded in death by her parents Bessie Mae Bennett and Sam Gray, one sister Phylicia Ann Bennett and one brother Sam Gray.
