Barbara M. (Ivy) Rapert

Barbara Maria Rapert, beloved daughter of Charles and Annamarie Ivy, was born on August 20, 1961 in Bamburg, Germany. She peacefully passed away on February 7, 2025 at home.

Tragically, Barbara's life was cut short by aggressive brain cancer. Despite her illness, she maintained her strength and grace, fighting it as best she could until the very end.

Barbara leaves behind her son, Tyler Rapert; her brother, Hans Ivy; nieces and nephews, Frank Antes, Jacob Antes, and Jessica Ashby; her beloved kitty Comet; as well as others. She was a devoted mother, always putting her family first.

Barbara had a passion for puzzles, reading, taking care of animals, and gardening. She could often be found tending to her garden or spending time with her cat, enjoying the simple pleasures in life.

Barbara will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her kindness, generosity, and love will forever be remembered by those whose lives she touched.

May she rest in peace, reunited with her parents, siblings, and all the others whom she cared for.
