Barbara J. (Davis) Huffman

Barbara Huffman, 74, of Benton Harbor, peacefully passed away on September 7, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. A memorial service will be held at a latter date.

Barbara was born on May 8, 1951, in Benton Harbor, Michigan, to Basil and Estella Davis. A dedicated member of the Hartford United Methodist Church, she served her community through the church's food pantry. Barbara also cherished playing bingo with her many friends at the Woodside Apartments and treasured the time spent with her family.

Barbara is survived by her daughters: Sonia (Steven Gibson) Jackson, Linda Lane, and Tammy (John Raphael) Huffman; as well as 19 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and a multitude of nieces, nephews, godchildren, family, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Basil and Estella Davis; her husband, James Warren Emery Huffman; her daughter, Ruth Elizabeth Cortez; her grandchildren Carmen Diaz and Amanda Huffman; and her siblings: Beverly, Janice, Grace, and Allen.
