Barbara Faye Dyson was born in St. Joseph, Michigan on February 22nd, 1954; to the union of Eddie and Ruthie Green. Barbara was a simple woman that loved God, laughter, and music where she loved people from all walks of life. Although over the years she worked as a preschool teacher, factory worker, retail worker, and more she had so much of an easygoing spirit and attitude everyone loved being around her. There was an embodiment of being grateful everyday regardless of the circumstance.
She was given in Holy Matrimony to Johnny Dyson on October 5, 1974, until Johnny Dyson’s untimely departure November 1990. She later made an acquaintance with Johnny Hubbard before his untimely departure as well.
She departed this physical life on January 22, 2023, at her home in Douglasville, GA
She will be deeply missed by her sisters MaLinda Napier (Green), and Joann Green, and brothers, Nathaniel Green, Frank Green, Bruce Green, Lee Green, and Daniel Green. Her children LaQuilla Dyson, Johnny Dyson Theresa Dyson (daughter-in-law), Eddie Dyson, JaVontae Dyson, DeVondre Dyson, DeQuandre Dyson while being a loving Grandmother of 15, Great Grandmother of 3 with a host of God Children and “close cousins, nieces, and nephews”.
She is preceded in death by her husband Johnny Dyson, Johnny Hubbard, John Green, Ruthie Green, Eddie Green, Sammie Wynn, Willie James Green, Armstead Wynn, Percy Wynn, Frank Wynn Roosevelt Wynn, Jake Wynn Jr., Louise Wynn, and many other family members and friends.
