Ashanti Hines Obituary

Ashanti was abruptly and tragically taken away from us on October 13th, 2021. Ashanti was born on May 04th, 2002, at Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph MI, to her mother Gloria White and father Eric Hines. Ashanti graduated from High School in May of 2020 and shortly after, received her Medical Billing and Coding Specialist Certification.

Ashanti was a beautiful, funny, goofy, smart, loving, and big-hearted young lady. She was always smiling, and her presence lit up every room she entered. Ashanti loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her sister and best friend Kahlayia.

Ashanti is survived by her mother Gloria White (Dwain), mother Tarnell Ray, father Eric Hines, her sisters Kahlayia Hines, Emoni Hines, Bre’yanna Hines, brothers Eric Hines and Keewayn Fleming.
