Arthur Robinson

Arthur “Other” Robinson was born on January 18, 1956, to the Union of Elton and Trilla Robinson in Hughes, Arkansas. Arthur received his education in Benton Harbor MI. He attended Benton Harbor High School.

Arthur was a fun person to be around, he loved to dance, and he loved fishing. He was a pretty laid-back guy. In his early days, he worked at Modern Plastic, Sparkle Car Wash and Schroeder Motor Mall. 

Arthur departed this life on May 03, 2023, after a long illness. He was preceded in death by his parents Elton Sr. and Trilla Robinson; (2) brothers, Elton Robinson and Willie Robinson Sr.; (4) sisters, Estella Robinson, Margree Robinson-Gordon, Lillie May Robinson, and Elnora Robinson; his grandmother, Polly Williams; a daughter, Tasha Bland and his son Arthur Jermaine Bland.

He leaves to celebrate his life (2) daughters, Lakiesha Bland of Benton Harbor MI and Laquoeia Johnson of Minneapolis, Minnesota; (1) son, Steven Robinson of Paducah, Kentucky; (1) stepson, Alvin Johnson of Philadelphia; (4) granddaughters, Aubrey Roman and J’brielle Perkins of Benton Harbor MI, Paris Johnson of Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Nina R. of Paducah, Kentucky; (7) grandsons, Jermaine Bland of Douglasville, Georgia, Joshua Shepard, Brandon Buchanan and Antowan Dyer Jr. of Benton Harbor MI, Jaquis Brown, Jakobe Redmon and Raymond Redmond Jr. of Minneapolis, Minnesota; a very special friend, Patrice Johnson, a special brother, James Robinson and a host of cousins, friends, nieces and nephews.
