Arlene Daday Dull, 68, of Saint Joseph departed this world on Wednesday, February 12th surrounded by family and loved ones. Arlene's optimism and fierce independence in spite of her blindness from a young age was an inspiration to all who knew her. She loved the outdoors and could be seen walking her dog many miles through the streets of Saint Joseph on all but the coldest days of the year. She was an avid and voracious reader, a lover of words and language, enjoyed food with a passion that was exhilarating to behold, and swore with an effortless elegance. She will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know her.
Arlene was preceded in death by her husband Greg Dull, her mother Betty Daday, her brother Steve Daday, four sisters Janet Linburg, Kathy Sisk, Deborah Bush, and Jean Macdonald, her significant other's daughter Samantha Harvey, and Leader Dogs Freedom, Sammy and Lizzie. She is survived by her father George Daday, Sr., brothers George Daday, Jr. and Bob Daday, sister Georgia Bonebright, her child Jo Dull, her significant other Stephen Harvey and his children Allison, Joel and Vanessa and three grandchildren, and her Leader Dog Wilson.
