Anthony Towns Sr. Obituary

Anthony "Tony" Milo Towns Sr. was born on Feb.10 1949 in Benton Harbor, MI to Homer Sr. and Luella Towns. While matriculating through Benton Harbor High School, he met and married his high school sweetheart May Bee Curtis. They wed in 1967 and through their matrimony, four children were born: Anthonette, Tammie, Anthony Jr., and Kwame. In his early life, he was gainfully employed with Clark Equipment Plant and Whirlpool Corp. where his other siblings also worked. Before retirement, he acquired his Commercial Driver's license and was employed with Pleasure Pools. Tony enjoyed spending time with his family, having cookouts, and fishing. After battling various health challenges, Tony departed this Earth while surrounded by his family on September 24, 2022.

He leaves to cherish his memory of his children: Anthonette (Daryl) of Benton Harbor MI, Tammie Sanders of Benton Harbor, MI, Anthony Jr. of Atlanta, GA, Kwame of Benton Harbor, MI; two sisters, Willie Pearl Thomas and Celeste Towns; one brother, Homer Towns Jr.; nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He also leaves behind special kids of love, Sunny Towns, Keith Larry, Donna Sanders, Traci Adih and many more too numerous to name. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Homer Sr. and Luella, sisters, Willie Mae Garth, Lena Davis; brother, Vernon Davis Jr, son-in-law Jerry Sanders and grandson Charles Kellie II.
