Anthony (Tut) Ewing was born November 7, 1979 in Holland, Michigan to Beverly McCoy (Brown) and Darnell Ewing and made his earthly transition February 15, 2024 in Atlanta, Georgia.
He was a lifetime member of Trinity Church of God In Christ under the leadership of his late Grandfather, Bishop John E. McCoy, Sr.
Anthony was an outgoing young man who loved hanging out with his family and friends. He grew up playing drums in his Grandfather’s Church. Joy Lake and JB’s Sports Bar was a couple of his favorite places to hang out. He loved watching the news, comedy shows and First 48 Hours. He also enjoyed working on cars, going to the gym and was an avid lover of music. Anthony worked many jobs over the years, Forward Air was his most resent employer, where he was as a forklift supervisor and driver in Atlanta, Georgia.
Those that remain to cherish his memory are his Mother Beverly (Joseph) McCoy-Brown of Benton Harbor, Michigan and Father Darnell Ewing of Grand Rapids, Michigan, his sons, Anthony Le’Quan Ewing, Amir Ewing and Treaveon Ewing. His daughters, Aubrey Ewing and Amber Ewing. Five Brothers and Sisters, Don Ewing, Sonya Cooper, Nicole Osler, Jasmine McCoy and Jermone McCoy all of Benton Harbor, Michigan, maternal Grandmother Anna Louise McCoy, special friend Tasha Williams and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal Grandfather, Bishop John E. McCoy Sr., paternal Grandparents James and Ida Mae Ewing.
