Anna Louise Harmon Guyton 71, of South Bend, IN was called home to be with the Lord Monday, August 30, 2021.
Louise was the 2nd born out of eight children, born on December 15, 1949, in Pocahontas Mississippi to the late Lovie Alexander- Harmon of Mississippi and the late John L. Harmon Mississippi. She attended Benton Harbor High School and was a member of the graduating class of 1967.
Louise was united in marriage to the late Michael Guyton on September 25, 2013, who proceeded with her in death on August 14, 2020.
Louise knew no strangers, everyone she met, she embraced. She had an infectious personality that brought joy to many she met. The greatest joy in Louise’s life was spending time with her children, grandchildren, and family. As well as, fishing, she was an avid lover of fishing, and would fish every day if she could have.
Louise was baptized at an early age, at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church by the late Rev. Ellis. She later joined membership with First Presbyterian Church in Benton Harbor, MI.
She was a valued employee with Lakeland Medical Center, now Spectrum Health in St. Joseph, MI for 18 years, among other various positions in her career.
She leaves to cherish her memory two sons and a daughter, Gregory L. (Tanika) Harmon, Clifton (Shawna) Griffin, and April (Shawn) Miller. Eight grandchildren Ashantee., Shawn, Karon, Kira, Essence, Asiana, Renesmee, and Aundria. Three great-grandchildren and one Godson Benjamin Varrie Sisters, Veronica Harmon, Bridget (Gordon) Woodson and Bernadette (Archie) Carpenter, Willie (Cookie) Ickom-Harmon, Brenda Harmon, and Vera Jackson. Brothers John Harmon, and Gregory Harmon. A host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son Monti Harmon. Two brothers Charles Harmon and Gary Harmon, and maternal & paternal grandparents.
