Angela Miller

Angela Miller 62 of Benton Harbor, MI transition at home surrounded by family.  Legacy farewell services will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2018, at Abundant Life Church of God, 693 Columbus Ave, Benton Harbor, MI 49022 with visitation starting at 10:00 am followed by services at 11:00 am. Burial will take place in Dowagiac MI, at the City of Dowagiac Riverside Cemetery.

Angela "Rene'" Parker-Miller, 62, departed this life peacefully on Sunday, December 9, 2018.

Angela was born April 27, 1956, in Dowagiac, Michigan to the late James M. and June M. Parker.  She grew up in Dowagiac where she was known by friends and others as Rene'.  She attended and graduated from Dowagiac Public Schools.

Angela moved to Benton Harbor, Michigan in 1974.  She later met Jerome Miller and the two married in 1979.  Together they had two children, Rhonda, and Jammie, whom she loved dearly.

She was employed by Mercy Memorial as a Central Processing Tech, Rite-Aid and Days Inn doing customer service.  She had a personality that was always loving and caring.  Her love ones could always count on her to buy a cake and ice cream for their birthdays.

She leaves her loving personality to be missed by her daughter, Rhonda (Shontae) Wright and son, Jammie (Quenetta) Parker.  Siblings; Alycia (Chris) Woods, Judith R. Parker, James L.Parker, Julie L.D. Parker, Jon D (Raquel) Parker, Quanah Parker, Julie Ware, Charles Parker, and Bonita Heard.  Three grandchildren; Darius, Chanel, Jasmine and Byron, Marques, Desiah, and Cortez whom she loved as her own.  God-children; Trina Parker-Calloway and Tracy Hardin.  Close friends; Marletta, Verla and Othella.  Special friend Greg and a host of friends and relatives.  She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Jerry L. Parker and nephew Shawn R. Parker.
