Andrea Omajune Strauss

Andrea Oma-June Strauss, 71, passed away peacefully on June 11, 2025, in Stevensville, Michigan. Born on July 15, 1953, in Benton Harbor, Michigan, Andrea lived a life marked by kindness, faith, and a deep devotion to those around her.

Andrea was known for her sweet nature and generous spirit. Always ready to lend a helping hand, she touched the lives of many with her warmth and compassion. Her gentle demeanor and willingness to support others made her a cherished presence in the lives of those who knew her.

Faith played a central role in Andrea’s life. She found great joy in attending church and worshiping the Lord. Her spiritual devotion was evident in the way she lived—offering love freely and serving others with humility and grace.

Family was especially important to Andrea. She spent much of her free time with her brother Kenneth and his wife Tammy, sharing special moments with their children. Her presence brought comfort and joy to family gatherings and everyday life alike.

Andrea is lovingly remembered by her sister-in-law Tamara; nieces and nephews Christine (Corey), Kendra, Jamie, Cheryl, Ricky, Cindy, and Melissa (Josh); as well as many great-nieces and great-nephews who will carry forward her memory with affection.

She was preceded in death by her mother Cordila, father Andrew, and brothers Buddy and Kenneth.

Andrea’s legacy of kindness and faith will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her. May her memory bring comfort to those who mourn her passing.
