Andre Dion Campbell Jr. 33 of Benton Harbor, MI departed this life September 10, 2022 in Benton Harbor, MI.
In life we have pleasures with our loved ones, we have sorrows and joy; but thank God for the memories death cannot destroy. Again death has invaded the ranks of both the Campbell and Nash family. It has carried away a wonderful son, a devoted and protective brother, a loving grandson, an adored uncle, a caring cousin, a respectful nephew, a kind brother-in-law, and a loyal and true friend-Andre Dion Campbell Jr.
The extraordinary life of our beloved Andre Dion Campbell Jr. was born to April Nash and Andre Campbell Sr. on July 12, 1989 in the City of Benton Harbor, MI.
To know Andre was to love him. Andre took pride in being an uncle and shared a special bond with his nephews, Elliott III and Jayden. He enjoyed spending time with all of his family, as he never missed an opportunity to get “Fresh” and enjoy life. Andre affectionately called “Hog” left an everlasting impression on everyone he encountered. He was an immaculate son, and amazing brother with a big heart, kind spirit and just an all-around funny guy. No matter whom Andre encountered, whether he knew them or not, he always kept it one hundred.
Andre was a proud graduate of the Benton Harbor Sr. High School Class of 2007. Following high school, Andre worked in the factory industry.
Precious memories of Andre life will live in the heart of his parents, Andre Campbell Sr. and April Nash; one brother, DeAndre Campbell; three sisters, Yolanda (Elliott) Mims, Andria Campbell and Shaniya Campbell; maternal grandmother, Alletha Nash; paternal grandparents, Brenna Campbell, Jack Jr. (Sylvia) Campbell; two special nephews, Elliott Mims III and Jayden Mims; his God-mother, Annette Gray; his best friends, Deon Broadway and Antonio Rooks; one God-daughter, Aria Rooks; a special friend, Tammie Outlaw and a large host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Andre was preceded in death by his brother, Antwan Anderson; maternal grandfather, Lewis Nash; and an uncle, Anthony Campbell.
For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39. Andre will dearly be missed and forever loved.
