Ambrece London Obituary

And the peace of God which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.  Philippians 4:7

The beautiful life of Ambrece Michelle London was born into time on Wednesday, November 7, 2001, in Benton Harbor, Michigan, at Lakeland Hospital (now Corewell Health). She was the beloved daughter of Virginia Lewis and Sir Michael London.

On Sunday, March 1, 2026, in her hometown Benton Harbor, Michigan, Ambrece Michelle London, transitioned to her heavenly home.

Ambrece attended Calvin Britain School, Mildred C. Wells Academy, and Benton Harbor High School. She later continued her education at Job Corps, where she earned a trade in Office Administration.

Ambrece loved dancing, singing, and doing makeup. Dancing was truly her art, and she shared that gift through praise dancing at church. She attended Full Gospel Tabernacle, where she was baptized at a young age, planting Christ firmly in her life.

Ambrece had a beautiful spirit and was known as the life of the party. Her smile and laughter could light up any room.

Ambrece greatest joy in life was being the mother to her daughter, Kemistrie. Ambrece loved her so much and was a wonderful mother. Kemistrie meant the world to Ambrece. Nothing else mattered more to her than her little girl who was her life. Ambrece wanted to be the best mother in the world for Kemistrie.

Ambrece shared a very close bond with her brother, Lamont Hawkins Jr., whom she lovingly called her twin.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her daughter, Kemistrie; her mother, Virginia Lewis (Derrick Lewis, stepfather); her father, Sir Michael London (Toya London, stepmother); her brothers, Lamont Hawkins Jr., Devin Lewis, Sincere Dechant, Josiah Dechant, and Ryan Dechant; her sisters, Taya Lewis, Kiana Lewis, and Shatoria Dechant; her grandmother Tina Anderson; her grandfather Ronald London Sr.; her grandmother Filice London; along with many loving family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather James Madden Jr.; Sadie Madden, who was a very special person in her life; her great-grandmother SadieMae Poole; Edwina Foster; and her great-grandmother Prophetist Leola Franklin.

Ambrece’s beautiful smile, loving heart, and vibrant spirit will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
