Amanda Kay Huffman, 33 of Niles was born December 13, 1990 in South Haven, Michigan to Sonia Jackson,

Amanda’s life was taken at the age of 33 in a horrific accident on August 22nd, 2024. She is the second oldest of 4 girls. Amanda loved music and time with her family and friends.  She loved nothing more than being a great mother to her three children.

Amanda leaves behind, her lifelong partner, George L Tovey III; children, Aubrey Tovey (15), AnJelo Tovey (7), George Tovey IV all of Niles; parents, Sonia & Steven Gibson of South Haven, Irene Fonseca of Gary Indiana and George Tovey Jr of Niles; siblings, Amber Huffman of Bangor., AnJelica Tovey of Gary, Indiana, Brittney Jackson of Benton Harbor, Tiffany Jackson of Dowagiac and Stephanie Gibson of Howe, Indiana; grandmother, Barbara Huffman of Benton Harbor; a host of, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

Amanda was preceded in death by her grandfather, James Huffman; uncle, Gary Huffman; aunt, Ruth Cortez.
