In Loving Memory of:  ALBERT MOSBY

 

Albert Mosby (Al) 73 Son to the late Johnson Mosby and Rosie Lundy Mosby, was born in Marion, AR; and later raised in Benton Harbor, MI. Albert attended Benton Harbor High School where he received a full education culminating in graduation.

 

Upon graduation, Albert had a passion for skating, he briefly started working at wrecks roller skating rink, he taught children how to skate. He was very talented and wanted to become a professional skater. He enjoyed fishing, he would go fishing three times a week, he enjoyed going to the movies, his favorite movie was James Bond and most of all he enjoyed cooking for his family. He also enjoyed working with his hands, he rebuilt and engine for his car, a blue and white 56 Chevy.

 

On February 26, 1968 Albert enlisted in the U.S. Army. He proudly served the military until he was honorably discharged on February 15, 1970 and returned to his roots.

 

Upon returning, he soon landed a job working at Bendix Corporation, building automotive parts. Soon after, he was promoted to a Supervisor’s position and with joy he remained supervisor for over 30 years until he retired. Albert accepted Christ and he often visited and enjoyed Abundant Life Church.

 

His life will forever be cherished in the lives of his son Albert (Lupe) Williams of Highland, CA; his daughters Roysine(Ronald Sr.) Carter, of Moreno Valley, CA; Shineqiau Johnson, of Benton Harbor, MI; his son Jeffrey Carter, of Polar Bluff, AR; and a host of devoted grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, Niece, Diana (Ashurd Sr.) Nichols, of Las Vegas, NV; Nephew, Danny Mosby, of Benton Harbor, MI; and extended family and friends.

 

Albert was preceded in death by his parents, maternal and paternal grandparents, daughter Regina Powell of South Bend, IN; his siblings Bernice Meadows, of Benton Harbor, MI; Savannah Moore, of St. Louis, MO; WC Mosby, of Florida City, FL; James Mosby, of Chicago, IL; Johnson Mosby Jr. of Chicago, IL; Edna Nichols, of Benton Harbor, MI; Ruth Mosby,of Benton Harbor, MI; Willie Mosby, of Benton harbor, MI.
