Willie Young 71 formerly of Benton Harbor, transitioned on May 26, 2018 in Lansing, MI surrounded by his family.

On May 26, 2018 Willie Lee Young was taken away from his loved ones unexpectedly in Lansing, Michigan.  His Legacy farewell services will be held on Saturday June 2, 2018 at Robbins Brothers Funeral Home, 204 S Fair Ave, Benton Harbor, MI 49022 with visitation starting at 10:00 am and service at 11:00 am. Willie Lee Young was born on May 21,1947 in Gilmore, Arkansas to the late Mrs. Deola Young and Mr. Ocie Young Sr.

Willie lived and enjoyed life to the fullest. He truly loved and enjoyed being around his family and friends. Willie was the life of the party, always cracking jokes and full of life. There was never a dull moment around him.

Willie leaves to cherish his memories two sons Terry Lee Smith of Houston, TX, Emmanuel Brown of BH Michigan; Two Daughters Amy (Daniel) Williams of St Louis MO, Ashley Love of Lansing, MI, 17 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren,  A Special Nephew Charles Young; His Siblings Ocie (Margaret) Young, Alletha Nash, Maggie (Willie) Kyle, Catherine (James) Mays, Terry Young, Michael Young, David (Jackie) Young all of Benton Harbor, MI; Sandra (Wayne) Hardy, Shelly Young of Lansing MI; Barbara Brant, Margaret Young of Detroit, MI A Host of nieces and nephews who he loved dearly.

He is preceded in death by his father; Ocie Young Sr, Mother Deola Young, Two Brothers DeWayne Young, Earl Young, Four Sisters, Diane Young, Mary Terry, Mary Sigger, Dorothy Jean Young.
