Willie C. Allen crossed the finish line of this life on Nov. 29, 2017. Legacy Farewell Celebration will be at 11am on Thursday Dec. 7th, 2017 with calling hours from 9am until the time of service..

Willie C. Allen was born August 3, 1937 to the parents of Frank and Violet Allen in Tupelo, Mississippi.  He graduated from Washington High School in Tupelo.   Following his graduation in 1955 he  joined the Air Force; then was joined in matrimony to Christine Boone in 1957.  They relocated to Benton Harbor, Michigan in 1963.  

Willie was affectionately known as “Shot”, a soft spoken man with a laid back personality that made friends everywhere he went. His free-hearted spirit made him quick to love.  For enjoyment he loved playing cards, fishing and watching the Chicago Cubs and his favorite vehicle was a pick- up truck.

Willie was a man that loved making money to provide for his family. He spent the majority of his career working in the manufacturing industry at Auto Specialty.  

Those bidding farewell to Willie are; Daughters: Barbara Allen and Unita Wilder of Benton Harbor, MI. Trinette Wilder of Algonquin, IL. and Towanda  (Carl) Daniels of South Bend, IN.

Grandchildern:  JaZaria Edison, Antwon Herndon, Arthur Herndon Jr. Ulysses Allen, Astar Allen Taylor, Lakisha Harris, Carl Daniel Jr., Shanika Daniels, Gary Davis and Monique Davis

He is proceeded in death by: parents Frank and Violet Allen, wife, Christine Allen, son, Willie Allen Jr, daughter Brenda  Allen.
