William I Finch

William I Finch transitioned from this earth on February 7, 2018 at his home.  A memorial service will be held on Saturday February 17,2018 at Robbins Brothers Funeral Home 204 S Fair Ave, Benton Harbor, MI 49022 beginning at 1:00 pm.  

William I Finch was born December 16, 1935 in Paducah, Kentucky unto Mack & Truller Finch.

William was a long time local Mortician & Business owner. He was the owner of The Finch Funeral Home, in Benton Harbor, MI. along with his brother Robert L. Finch. Mr. Mack & Truller Finch the parents of William & Robert were co-owners of the business. The funeral home served Berrien County & surrounding areas for over 40 years. William was an asset to the community economy in the early 60’s well into the mid 90’s. He retired in 1996.

William leaves behind three daughters; Ammina I Scott Of Stevensville, MI; Rasheedah (James) Abdullah of Chicago, IL Teresa Carter of Ohio Two Sons Ganquist Reeves Of Grand Rapids, MI William Davis of Colorado. Grandchildren William McKinney Od Anderson, IND. Jonika Scott of Stevensville, MI, Five Great Grandchildren Brother Robert (Barbra) Finch of Benton Harbor, MI Nephew Robert L. Finch of Houston, Tx.; William J Finch of Benton Harbor a devoted Nephew Robbin (Alecia) Lee

He was proceeded in death by his parents Mr. Mack & Truller Finch Grandparents Ned & Rosa Pashcel Great Aunt Etta.
