Sherman Roseburgh 64 of Benton Harbor, departed this life on June 18, 2019, at Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo, MI. Arrangements are pending at this time.
Sherman was born December 29, 1954, in Benton Harbor, Michigan. He was the seventh eldest of fifteen siblings. He accepted Jesus Christ as Lord in Savior at the age of 15 at Beautiful Gate Baptist Church. He later became a member of Hopewell Baptist Church but completed his Christian journey on earth with Progressive Baptist Church. Sherman was a humorous, loving brother to all whom he encountered. He enjoyed his time on earth with family and friends through games and social activities that allowed him to bring laughter in all situations in life. He loved big family gatherings because he loved to eat and make those around him happy.
He preceded in death by his parents, Bonnie Gean O’Neal -Roseburgh, and William Henry Roseburgh Jr., siblings: Ada Ruth, William Henry Jr., L.C. and a stillborn child, one niece Tracy Roseburgh and three nephews Juwan Steven, William A Roseburgh Jr. and William A Roseburgh lll; grandparents: William (Doc) and Lizzie Roseburgh Tommie Ruth Smith and Charlie O’Neal; Uncles: George Lacy, Joette Roseburgh, L.C., James Aberson, James Author, Glen Howard, and Henry Clay; Aunts: Margaret Wren, Lular Mae Kelley, Ella Mae Brown, Rosetta Rimpson, Iredell Lacy, and Georgia Richmond.
