She retired from Action Garment Rentals in 2001. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, fishing, reading her bible and praying.

She leaves to cherish her memories 8 children Charles (Carla) London, Tyron (LeAnna) London, David London, Willie (Wendy) London, Wanetta London, Wanda London, LaDonna (Freddie) Deal, and Evie Duncan. 2 un-biological sons Adonis Taylor Sr. and Corlos Powell. And she also leaves to her memories 4 sisters LuSandia Hubbard, Dorothy Jordan, Sherry London, and Bertha Griffin and 1 brother Melvin London. 34 Grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends, and loved ones

She was preceded in death by her parents Elijah and Azzie London, 1 son Frank London, 5 brothers R.B London, A. B London, William McCoy, Vernon London, and James London. 1 sister Virgie Swopshire, 1 best friend Vivian (Lil’ Momma) Smith. 2 nephews Elijah London, and Eddie Hubbard.
