Rosetta Lewis was born March 25, 1963 in Benton Harbor MI to Maybelle and Leroy Lewis. She resided in Benton Harbor until the Lord called her home on January 1, 2018.  Rosetta attended the Benton Harbor area Schools and was employed with companies such as Collins and Aikman, Pemco Radix and more.  Rosetta attended Israelite Baptist Church under Rev Joe Bruins. She enjoyed life to the fullest.  Nothing could slow her down, not even her sickness.   Rosetta enjoyed cooking, fishing, and taking care of her family, but most of all she enjoyed the Casino. She was full of spunk and fire.  You couldn’t help but to love her.   She was the center of joy for the Lewis family. Nothing went on within the family that she wasn’t a part of.  She was so loving, that she opened her home and heart to anyone that needed it.   She always thought of others and their needs.   But don’t cross her and don’t mess with her family.  She didn’t play that.  Rosetta loved her children so much, she was always there for them no matter what they needed. They could always count on MOMMA. Rosetta was so well known because of her caring heart and her willingness to help.  She will be missed so much. The family will not be the same. We love you.

Rosetta leaves with her memory Husband of over 15 years Lee James, Children: Kisha Lewis, Desire Lewis, Freddie Lewis, Johnny Lewis and Nikolis Lewis all of Benton Harbor, siblings: Margaret Swanagan, John Lewis, Debra (Terry) Anderson, Bernice (Jimmy) Jones, Brenda (Raymond) Henry all of Benton Harbor, Willie (Aqullia) Lewis, Herbert (Janice) Pulliam, Stacey (Lavina) Pulliam, David Lewis, John Fields, Elizabeth Porter and Tyrone Brown and Step Mother Annie Lewis all of Dowagiac MI.  19 Grandchildren and a host of Nieces and Nephews.

Special Friends:  Lisa Williams, Lenora Harris, Margaret Malone, Angela Hadley and Margaret Young.

She was proceeded in death by: Parents, Leroy and Maybelle Lewis, Leroy Lewis Jr. Irma Lewis, JD Lewis and Arthur Lewis
