Ronnie Richmond

Ronnie Richmond formerly of Benton Harbor, MI transitioned on August 10, 2018, in Queens NY.

Ronnie Devell Richmond was born August 25, 1966, to James Allen Richmond and Ella Mae Sanders in Osceola Arkansas and later moved to Benton Harbor, MI where he attended and graduated from Coloma High School in 1984. Later that year he enlisted in US Navy and served for his country for twelve years.

While on active duty at Great Lakes Naval Base he met the love of his life and was united in holy matrimony with Barbara Conner on April 27, 1988. Whom he was married to for thirty-one years. (Until death do us part).

Ronnie was a devoted husband, father, son, and grandfather and friend.  He enjoyed being with family and friends, fishing, barbequing, and playing bid wiz. Ronnie was also a very hard working man.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his father James Allen Richmond Sr. and his brother James Allen Richmond Jr.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving devoted wife Barbara Richmond, two children, Donco(Katrina) and Lavashia, four grandchildren Devonne, Tyasia, Justice and Keymoni, mother Ella Mae Sanders, three sisters Shurone, Angila(Randy), and Tracey(Charles), One brother Elvis Richmond, Stepmother Betty Richmond, mother-in-law Vera Conner, 18 uncles, 3 aunts, and many others relatives and friends.

Legacy farewell services will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2018, at Robbins Brothers Funeral Home,  204 S Fair Ave, Benton Harbor, MI with visitation starting at 12:00 noon, followed by services at 1:00 pm.
