It was an crisp fall day in the great city of Quitman Georgia, Brooks County to be exact, on Nov. 15th 1916 that Mr. Joshua Jenkins and Ila Mae welcomed a screaming bouncing baby boy into the world, after much though and consideration, they decided to name their bundle of joy Robert .

Growing up, Robert was a very hard working, and patient frame. He was an innovative, progressive, humanitarian, who had a genuine heart for people and who left a positive lasting impression on whomever he came into contact with.

While worshiping in service, Robert met Willie Mae , and asked to take her hand in marriage, They took the next step and were married in 1940.

Anyone who knew him, knew that he loved the lord with his entire being and was always on time. In his spare time, you could find him with family, laughing and enjoying himself,

On November 7th, 2017 Robert F. Jenkins heard the master say, “Well done thy good and faithful servant” crossing the finish line of this life, transitioning from earthly labor to his heavenly reward. He was greeted at heavens gates by the love of his life Willie Mae, and his parents Joshua and Ila, and the other loved ones that has gone on before him.

     Those left with precious memories, two children, Joseph Simmons (Shirley), Willie Ward (Lillian), four sisters ; Lillie B. Stivens, Cordie J. Walker, Inez J. Smith, and Reatha J. Stevens,  seven grand children, thirteen great grands, and ten great-great grands and a host of other relatives and friends.
