Rafale Rollins Jr.

Rafale Rollins 27 of Milwaukee, WI formerly of Benton Harbor, transitioned on October 25, 2018, unexpectedly. Legacy farewell services will be held on Friday, November 9, 2018, at Our Center for Better Living 717 E Napier Ave, Benton Harbor, MI 49022 with visitation starting at 11:00 am followed by service at 12:00 noon.

Rafale Rollins was born to the union of Rafale Rollins Sr. and Consuela Hardin Rollins on 5/16/1991.  Rafale spent most of his youth in the Milwaukee area surrounded by his siblings and cousins. He graduated from the Job Corps in 2009. He also received a carpentry certificate after the Job Corps. Rafale loved music and writing his own songs. Music was one of the ways he expressed himself. Rafale also enjoyed skateboarding and spending time with friends and family.  Rafale loved spending time with his young daughter Amary, who will truly miss those special moments with her daddy. Rafale had goals and dreams and had a smile that could light up a room. He had a great sense of humor and loved to make those around him laugh. Rafale had a tender heart that those closest to him were able to witness and experience.

Rafale is survived by his siblings; Kianna, Tianna, Samuel, and Manual Rollins of Grand Rapids, MI; his sister LaQuise Gray of Covert, MI; his father Rafale Rollins of Benton Harbor, MI; his mother Consuela Rollins of Grand Rapids, MI; his grandmother Renee Coleman of Benton Harbor, MI and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins from Milwaukee, WI and Benton Harbor, MI. Rafale also had several impactful women “mothering types” in his life who encouraged him on his journey; Evangelist Grayer, Lillian Rollins, Jennifer Stiller, Taneka Hart, and Latara Brown.

Rafale was preceded in death by his grandfather, Gregory Williams Sr., his grandmother Mary Long; his great-grandmother Gloria A. Gill; his great uncle Donald Gill; and his uncle Jonny Ragsdale.
