MC Woods

MC Woods of Benton Harbor passed away Friday, May 17, 2019. 

MC Woods was born on January 25, 1951, in Winona, MS to the union of L.C. Woods and Nancy Brantley.  He moved to Benton Harbor at an early age and attended the Benton Harbor area school system.  He was a member of Our Center for Better Living Church International for fifteen years under the leadership of Camilla Frye Bogan and Pastor Patrick Patterson.  He graduated from Lake Michigan College with a Degree in Business Administration.

MC leaves the love of his life Thelma Price of 35 years; three sons Fahim(Batman)Nasheed, Jordan Jessie Sherrod of St. Louis, MO, Marty (Angela) Price of Berrien Springs, MI: two sisters Rosie Sims, Little Rock Ark, Cheryl Sumrall, St. Louis, MO; five brothers; Jerome (Cheryl) McIntosh, Richard (Marie)Woods of South Bend, IN, Terry(Trenna)Sumrall, Minneapolis MN, James Wood, Detroit MI, Tommy Woods, Benton Harbor MI; five sister-in-laws Elnora Pryor, Ethel Collins of Benton Harbor MI; Iris Price, Sheila Price Sanders, Essie(Robert)Hall of Lula MS; three brothers-in-law; Cleven Price of Benton Harbor, MI, Roosevelt (Verda) Price of Chicago IL, Ernest (Delores) Price of Merrillville, IN; three special nieces, Docarie Price Fletcher of Detroit MI, Carolyn Price, Angela Collins of Benton Harbor MI; special cousins Willie Ward, Eddie McIntosh, Angie McIntosh; special friends, Shelley Davis, Ben Williams, John Mays, Ira Burton, Rosemary Holloway and host of nieces, nephews,  friends and loved ones.

He was preceded in death by his parents L.C. Woods, Nancy Brantley, one sister Renee Woods, two brothers L.C Woods, and Jerome Woods.
