Louise Virginia Hemphill, 73, died in Champlin, MN on April 20, 2017. Services will be held Thursday, April 27, 2017 at Second Baptist Church, 600 Donald Adkins Dr., Benton Harbor. Visitation at 11am and services at noon. Burial will take place at North Shore Memory Garden, Coloma, MI. 

Louise was born on December 4, 1943 in Memphis, Tn to Willis Hemphill and Mozella Hampton. She enjoyed going to church, talking on the phone, eating her favorite foods, singing and writing music. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her 8 siblings: Mrs. Callie Ann (Robert) Burnett of South Bend, IN, Hayes Harris, Jr of Benton Harbor, MI, Ruby Bownes of Batesville, MS, Dave Harris of Battle Creek, MI, Florida Lee Harris of Champlin, MN, Joe Ann (Eddie) Nunnery of Benton Harbor, MI., Elvis Hampton of Benton Harbor, MI., Janna (Tommy Moore) Hampton of Battle Creek, MI; daughters: Nancy Davis of Anoka, MN, Maria Partee of Champlin, MN and Brenda (George) Kirkland Sr; son, Ravien (Shelly) Hemphill; special granddaughter, Angela M. Hemphill; 14 grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren, family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Willis "Sonny" Hemphill, Jr; and daughter, Elvin "Beanie" Hemphill.
