Lloyd Lee Austin 62, of Benton Harbor transitioned peacefully on November 1st, 2017. Legacy farewell celebration will commence Saturday 1pm, Nov. 11th, in the sacred walls of Robbins Brothers Funeral Home, with calling hours from 12 noon until the time of service.

Lloyd Lee Austin 62, was born June 2, 1955 in Saratoga, Arkansas to the union of the late Willie C. and Betty Austin. He was the youngest of 9 children.

Lloyd attended Saratoga High School in Saratoga Arkansas. He was a straight forward and kind person in his own special way. He enjoyed doing karate, good food, farming, fishing, hauling hay, playing cards, domino's, working on his classic truck, and spending time with family and friends.

Lloyd moved to Benton Harbor, Michigan in the late 70's. He worked at Cook Nuclear Plant and later he became a self-employed carpenter which he loved working along side his oldest brother and later united in Holy matrimony to the late Roxann  Austin on August 28, 1981.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory 6 sisters: Corline Peoples, Pauline Young, Savannah Washington, Mary (Robert) Frye; Mattie Hogans, and Naomi (Reuben) Jones; 3 brothers Joe Jr (Beverly) Austin; R.C. Austin; and James Austin; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Lloyd was proceeded in death by his late wife Roxann Austin; parents Willie C. and Betty Austin; and  two brothers Henry Lee Austin, Willie C. Austin Jr.
