Johnny Lee Williams, 98, of Benton Harbor, died on August 06, 2017 at the Medilodge of Portage, Portage, MI. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at Robbins Brothers Funeral Home, 204 S. Fair Ave, Benton Harbor. Services will begin at noon. Burial will take place at North Shore Memory Garden, Coloma. 

Johnny Lee Williams was born to the union of Luke Williams and Minnie Bankhead-Williams on December 9, 1918 in Arkansas.

Johnny was a World War II Army Vet that worked in construction after he was honorably discharged. He loved horses, gardening  and telling the best jokes. During retirement, he spent a lot of time cultivating his neighbors’ yards in Covert, MI.

He is survived by his daughters, Elvira McNeal of Chicago, IL and JoAnn Johnson of Texas; in laws: Eirlen (William) Brown, Inez (Ernest) Hester, Alma (Marshall) Henning, Ezekiel (Icie) Guidry and Profit (Arie) Guidry; God daughter, Nicole Brown; grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two wives, and one son.
