Jimmy Armstead

Jimmy Armstead departed this life on March 1, 2019, at  Lakeland Hospital.

Jimmy Armstead was born on March 15, 1960, to Cleo and Mary Armstead in Memphis TN. He moved from Batesville, MS to Benton Harbor in 1970.

He confessed his life to Christ at an early age, under the leadership of Rev. John L McAfee of Israelite Missionary Baptist Church.  Jimmy was employed at Prang Foods in the early years.

Jimmy leaves to cherish his memory daughters, Stephanie, Latasha, and Patricia all of Benton Harbor, Marie of Battle Creek, Delinda (Aramide) of Indianapolis;  sons, Jimmy of Akron, Sonny of Battle Creek, Dayshawn and Joshua of Kalamazoo, Rico (Laneesha) Deon, Cleo all of Benton Harbor and Joe of Niles; sister, Mary (Tex) Walker of Benton Harbor, mother of his children, Shirley Doss of Benton Harbor, twin brother, Timmy Armstead of Little Rock and brother, Sidney Caldwell of Benton Harbor; 32 Grand Children a host of family and friends.

Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents, Mary, and Cleo Armstead; children, Burnett, Princes, and Aaliyah; grandparents, Joe Willie, and Martha Caldwell; brother, Willie C Woodall; granddaughter, Dashay Armstead.
