Inez Ware-Brock, 97, of Benton Harbor died April 26, 2017 at the Lakeland Medical Center, St. Joseph, MI. Services will be held Friday, May 12, 2017 at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church, 1105 E. Main St., Benton Harbor. Visitation at 11am and services at NOON.

Inez Ware was born December 16, 1919 in Clarksdale, MS to the union of Pat Ware and Lillar Ingram.

During the 50’s, Inez relocate to Benton Harbor and married Bennie Davis. To that union two children were born, Malcolm Keith Davis and Karen Y. Davis-Saunders. She later married the late Arthur Brock.

Mother Inez Ware  was a faithful and dedicated member of Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. W.E. Ellis and the late Rev. Emery M. Varrie. She was an active participate  in Sunday School, Senior Mission, Mother’s Board, Prayer Band and a proud Women’s Day organizer.

One of her greatest joys was mentoring children through the grandparent program.

Mother Brock is survived by her son, Malcolm Keith Davis; daughter, Karen Y. Saunders; special sister, Effie Razor; special grandchildren: Matthew, Michael, and Michelle Razor; other daughters: Lovia Lynette, Lois Annette Clay, Min. Essie Dorsey and Bennadette Varrie-Nichols; God-niece, Patricia Martin; and a host of church family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Emma Jones and Eunice Tate; and closest friend, Lovie Mae Clay.
