Henry Jackson Jr.

Henry Jackson Jr, 76 of Benton Harbor MI was called home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 16, 2018.

Henry (JR/Paw Paw) Jackson was born December 27, 1941 to the late Henry Jackson SR. and Alice Jackson. Henry was raised by his Grandmother Jane Jackson, in Canton Mississippi. Henry accepted Christ at an earlier age. Henry attended Madison County Training School. From there he drove Semi trucks over 40 yrs. Henry was employed at Penn Wood Yard and Madison County C0-0P.

As a young man Henry had spent time in Detroit MI., with his late brother Cleveland Jackson. Later return to Canton, Mississippi to be with his family who he loves the most.

Henry was a fun, loving, outgoing, spiritual granddad, father, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend to many. (Paw Paw) loved his children, and Grandchildren. Henry moved back to Michigan with his son.

Henry (Junior) in 2011. Henry became a member of Fellow Baptist Mission Church. He loved going to church, eating and entertaining his grandchildren’s. Henry also enjoy watching Monday Night Raw, Baseball and Gun Smoke. Where ever you seen Paw Paw he was either praising our God or with his son Henry (JUNIOR) Nichols.

Henry leaves to cherish his memories his (2) daughters  Dorlisa Nichols of Jackson MS , Clarice (Demetric) Robbins of Jackson MS, as well as a Bonus Daughter/Caregiver Sherry Ferguson of Benton Harbor MI (4) Sons   Calvin (Mann) Watts of Canton MS, Imari Nichols of Canton MS,  Jamar (Dominique) Nichols of Benton Harbor MI,  Henry Nichols of Benton Harbor MI, (1) Brother Clarence Edward of Texas, (1) Sister Mae Ruth Harris Jackson,  A host of Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins, and friends. Special Friend Pat (Sugarmomma) Kyles.

Henry was preceded in death by his father Henry SR., Mother Alice Jackson, Grandmother, Jane Jackson, Sister Bennie Ruth Smith, Ruby Dale Jackson, Brothers Cleveland Jackson, Samuel Lee Pounds, Son Ricky Montel Jackson
