Earline Kimble

Earline Kimble  78 of Benton Harbor transitioned on July 8, 2018 in Grand Rapids, MI surrounded by her family. Legacy farewell services will be held Tuesday July 17, 2018 at Hopewell Baptist  Church, 756 Highland Ave, Benton Harbor, MI 49022 with visitation starting at 11:00 am followed by services at 12:00 noon.

I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Hence forth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness. II Timothy 4: 7-8

Mother Earline Kimble went home to be with the Lord on July 8, 2018 surrounded by her loving family at Spectrum Hospital in Grand Rapids MI. Mother Kimble was born on November 23, 1939 in Memphis Tennessee to the union of the late Nathan & Mary Alice Mosbey. One living sister, Ernestine Hickman in Milwaukee Wisconsin.Mother Kimble was united in marriage to Joseph Kimble in 1955 and to this union five children were born. She resided in Benton Harbor Michigan for 61 years.

Mother Kimble was a stay at home mom. She worked as a Day Care Operator for several years and later she worked for Coloma Frozen Foods.Sister Kimble accepted Jesus Christ at a very early age. She loved the Lord. She served on the Nurses Guild Board for The Church of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Sister Kimble and her husband joined Bread of Life Missionary Baptist Church years ago. She loved to spend time with her family and friends. She loved flowers, cooking, baking, and home decorating. She enjoyed watching old TV shows also.

She leaves behind her loving children: two daughters, Emma Jean Kimble of Benton Harbor MI, Joyce Dunston (Edward) Louisville KY, Two sons: Larry E. Kimble (Theressa) Columbus OH, Lawrence C. Kimble of Benton Harbor, MI. One sister, Ernestine Hickman in Milwaukee Wisconsin. Four Grandchildren: Crystal Kimble, Charlotte NC, Candace Johnson (Tremanne) Chesapeake VA, Lawrence C. Kimble II (Jakyra) Grand Rapids MI, Mason A. Dunston Louisville KY.

Three great grandchildren: Allen (AJ) Brown Charlotte NC, Cianna Johnson, Chesapeake VA, Jo’siah Kimble Grand Rapids MI. A host of family and friends. Special friend of family Adoria & Kenneth Stokes and Lula Scales. Special friends: Edwina Atkins, Helen Parker, Georgia Willis, Dorothy Jones and Katie Powell.
