- About Us
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
Again, death has invaded the ranks of the Buchanan family and taken away not only a loving son, father, significant other, nephew, cousin, family member and friend.
Aundre Jerdell Sanders was born into time on November 9, 1995, at Lakeland Medical Center, in St. Joseph, Michigan. Aundre, affectionately called “Poona” by his family and “Tune” by his close friends transitioned to his heavenly home on Sunday, July 1, 2018, tragically in Benton Harbor, Michigan. Legacy farewell services will be held on Tuesday July 17, 2018, at Pilgrim Rest Baptist church 1105 E Main St, Benton Harbor, MI 49022 with visitation starting at 10:00 am followed by services at 11:00 am.
Throughout Aundre’s life, he was introduced to Christ and he believed that Jesus Christ was his personal Savior. He was formally educated in the Benton Harbor Area Schools where he attended both Calvin Britain and Sterne Brunson Elementary Schools, Hull Middle School and Benton Harbor High School where was to graduate with the Class of 2014.
As a child, “Poona” loved to play baseball and he was an excellent player. He also enjoyed dancing, laughing as “Tune” always had a smile on his face and loved to make others smile. He was very free-hearted and enjoyed spending time with his brother Samorion, his son, Dre Dre and most of all his love, Antionette with whom he was happily anticipating the birth of their new baby. Aundre had a love for life and will truly be missed.
