Annie Mae Jackson was born September 17, 1933, in Crystal Springs, Mississippi to the union of Willie and Ruthie Mae (Terry) White. Annie went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 26, 2019, in Stevensville, MI. Annie confessed her hope in the Lord at an early age under the leadership of the late Rev. D. D. Smith of Clear Creek M.B. Baptist Church in Crystal Springs, Mississippi.
Annie was united in holy matrimony to the late Johnnie Jackson, Jr. and this union 3 children were born. One son, Charles Jackson and two daughters, Linda Jackson of Fort Wayne, IN, Elaine (Alfonzo) Autrey of Benton Harbor, MI. Annie and her family relocated to Benton Harbor, MI. in 1955 where she soon united with Progressive Baptist church under the leadership of the late Rev. Dr. Daniel E. Cook and now current pastor Rev. James O. Childs. Annie worked several jobs in the Benton Harbor and St. Joseph areas.
Annie is survived by her two daughters: Linda Jackson of Fort Wayne, IN and Elaine (Alfonzo) Autrey of Benton Harbor, MI. Three sisters: Maggie Thomas of Missouri, Dora Roseborrow and James Ella White of Benton Harbor, MI. Three brothers: Johnnie B. White of Kalamazoo, MI, Johnnie Williams of Florida and Willie Lawrence of Benton Harbor, MI.
Annie was preceded in death by her husband Johnnie Jackson, Jr., son Charles Jackson, her father Willie White and her mother Ruthie Mae (Terry) White, two sisters: Willie Ruth (White) Boone of Cleveland, OH., grandson Jerry Dontrell Jackson.
Annie leaves to cherish her grand memories, 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 24 great, great-grandchildren. A special friend, Mother Pauline Walker
