Maggie Thomas Obituary

Maggie K. (White) Thomas was born in Crystal Springs, MS on August 29, 1936, to the union of Willie and Ruthie Mae White. As with her family at a very early age she confessed Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior. Attending Clear Creek Baptist Church in Crystal Springs, MS under the leadership of the late Rev. D.D. Smith. Maggie blossomed into the warm loving spirited woman that we all came accustomed to knowing. She relocated to Benton Harbor, MI as a younger adult reaffirming her faith at Progressive Church under the leadership of the Rev. Dr. Daniel E. Cook. Passionate of her singing abilities Maggie joined the choir with her sisters because she loved to sing.

Maggie worked several jobs in the Benton Harbor area later to be united in holy matrimony to Harold Thomas Sr. Harold and Maggie’s union were blessed with (7) loving kids prior to Harold’s untimely passing.

Maggie enjoyed spending time with family, she liked to cook, watch her favorite programs during her quiet time alone; Maggie loved to listen to gospel music all day long.

Maggie was quiet, tender hearted and caring, overzealous in her giving, she had a open door policy in her heart. She loved the principles of the Bible and she did her best to not only practice them in her speaking but she lived them in her daily walk throughout her life.

If you would ask anyone who knew Maggie there isn’t a living person who could say a negative comment on Maggie’s character and with this fact being known “Heaven Welcomes A New Angel.”

Maggie will never be forgotten, she will always be loved, and her memories will always be cherished...“We Love You Maggie - Always and Forever”
