A Time to be born: On Thursday, January 4, 1951, in Lula Mississippi, God blessed the late Charles and Fannie Louise (Whitfield) Wiliams with a little boy they named Charles.
A time to serve: Charles received his education in the Dundee Mississippi school system. At an early age, Charles was baptized at Mount Zion Baptist Church. In I1967, Charles relocated to Benton Harbor, MI. Charles was employed for 20 years at New Products. After retirement, he did odd jobs until his health failed. To know Charles was to love him. He had a smile that would light up a room!!
A time to weep: On Sunday, March 24, 2024, God took Charles by the hand and called him home. He is now resting peacefully with his parents, Walter Sr & Fannie, his brother, James Williams, and his son, Tony Suggs.
He leaves to cherish his precious memory of 3 daughters: Charlene and Latonya Dortch and Latoya Gaines all of Benton Harbor, MI; 4 sons: Timothy Suggs of Grand Rapids, MI, Antwan Crowder, Trayvon Williams, and Tony Suggs of Benton Harbor, MI; 18 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Also mourning his loss, 3 brothers: Walter June (Michelle) Williams and Ben Henry (Cassandra) Williams both from Benton Harbor, and Joe Earl Williams of Tunica Mississippi along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
