Virece Berry was born on May 16, 1932 in Wyatt Mo. to the union of Elbert Berry and Irene William Berry.  He departed this life on Tuesday May 10, 2017 at Orchard Grove Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

He confessed hope in Christ at an early age and was baptized in 1947 in Wyatt, Missouri, at Rushridge Baptist Church under the Leadership of Rev. William M. Vaughn.

n 1951, he Married Maxine Millner in Wyatt, Missouri and they moved to Benton Harbor, Michigan in 1951, that very next day they joined Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church

Under the leadership of Rev. W. E Ellis.

To this union two children were born, Julius C. Berry and Glenda F. Harris.   He served on the Usher Board and Junior usher Board for over 40 years until he became ill. 

He worked for Josam Foundry in Michigan City, Indiana where he retired in 2000, after 30 plus years of service.

His Mother Irene and his father Elbert Berry, wife Maxine I. Berry and his brother Julius J. Berry preceded him in death.  He leaves to mourn his brother Elbert Berry Jr,

His son, Julius C. Berry (Lowretter); daughter,Glenda F. Harris (Keith); a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Special thanks to his Goddaughter, Silvia, Emma Joe, Sis Corine Jones and special friend, Sherrie.
