Corey James Bell

January 27, 1971 ~ November 22, 2017 (age 46) 46 Years Old

Life is but a stopping place, a pause in whats to be, a resting place along the road, to sweet eternity.

Corey J. Bell 46, of Benton Harbor MI heard the master say "Well done thy good and faithful servant" Crossing the finish line of this life, and transitioned from earthly labor to his heavenly reward on Nov 22nd, 2017. Legacy Farewell Celebration will commence Monday Dec. 4th, 11:00 am at Second Baptist Church. Final earthly resting place  will be at Ft. Custer National Cemetery.

Corey J Bell was born on January 27, 1971 in Benton Harbor, Michigan to James H. Bell and the late Lugena Bell.

Corey committed his life to Christ and his parent's church, Christian Life Christian Center with his father as Pastor, James H Bell.

After graduating from the Benton Harbor High School, Corey enlisted in the Navy where he served our country.  Corey worked in various aspects of the community, one of which was the Morton-Hill Improvement Association. He lead the charge to beautify and empower this community from concept to design. Because of his efforts, the entrance monument will be dedicated to him for his vision and leadership. 

He loved working with the youth and mentored many young men and women with encouragement and future aspirations.  Corey loved to dress and had a fashionable sense of style ever since he was a young boy. He loved interior design and had culinary talent. 

Corey leaves to cherish his precious memories his father, James H Bell his two children Corey J Bell II and Tariah Stansberry. One brother, Chante (Susan) Pryor. Grandmother Katheryn Harris and a host of aunts and uncles, nieces, and nephews, cousins and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother Lugena Bell and brother Monte Pryor.
